A Gower restaurant is celebrating a prestigious award with four internationally-themed food events
As winner of Hotel Restaurant of the Year in the Food Awards Wales 2018, Oxwich Bay Hotel, in Gower, are celebrating with four themed weeks of foodie indulgence.
From Italian-inspired dishes to the best in Welsh cuisine, there’s something to delight and intrigue the most discerning of foodies.
A Taste of the Sea (Monday 5th November - Friday 9th November)
Bringing you the freshest seafood, this week will showcase two different seafood specials alongside the main menu each night, together with a mouthwatering sea-inspired breakfast including options such as kippers and smoked salmon eggs Benedict.
All Things Welsh (Sunday 11th November – Friday 16th November)
Celebrating the food of Wales, the restaurant will put a unique twist on a new Welsh dish every night, as well as two dishes that focus on local Welsh ingredients to complement the main menu. Also available will be their famous Welsh breakfast, served all year around, but with the special addition of Glamorgan sausage.
Impressive Italian (Monday 19th November – Friday 23rd November)
Love pizza, pasta and everything Italian? Alongside thin crust pizzas, there’ll be two Italian specials each night of the week, finishing on Friday night with an Oxwich Bay twist on Italian food. With special continental coffees available during the week too, this is not one to miss!
An American Mini-Break (Thursday 29th & 30th November)
To round off the foodie month Oxwich Bay will serve three classic favourites each night. There will also be a menu of American breakfast options including pancakes and maple syrup or a healthier option of yoghurt with berries and granola.
With any themed week, you can enjoy a two to six night stay at the hotel from £47.50 per person per night half board.
