Treat yourself to a comforting Sunday roast from one of the best restaurants on Angelsey

In this time of turmoil, there’s something comforting about a delicious plate piled high with Sunday roast dinner and one of the best places to get your comfort fix is Harry’s in Beaumaris.

One of the most picturesque spots on the north Wales coast, overlooking the Irish sea, this bistro prides itself on home-cooked food and local ingredients and is now offering Sunday takeaway roast dinners for those who want to eat later or from the comfort of your own home. Just put in your order and pick up from 3.30pm.

As well as roast Welsh beef, leg of Welsh lamb and roast pork, vegetarians and vegans are catered for with a nut roast. All served with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy and there’s also a selection of starters, including prawn and smoked salmon cocktail caesar salad with crispy bacon.

Harry’s also provide the over-worked cooks of the household with a selection of ready meals, such as chicken, mushroom and wild garlic cobbler, fresh fish and cold water prawn pie and lamb, redcurrant, rosemary and root vegetable hotpot.

There is also a wide choice of desserts to follow, including bread and butter pudding, darl chocolate mousse with butter shortbread and triple chocolate brownie.
