Garden rooms are not only a cost effective way of extending living space, but can be used to provide an income

If you are one of the many who are choosing to work from home due to the pandemic or you’re considering launching a new business, a bespoke garden room may be the perfect answer.

This is exactly what Dr Maeve Kenningham from Rossett decided to do to provide her with home-based facilities for her specialist skin care clinic.

The building, which was designed and provided by specialist garden room company, Rubicon in Deeside, includes a reception area, two treatment rooms, a toilet and kitchen together with all services for waste, water and electrical supplies.

“I’m so thrilled with my Rubicon garden office from where I now run my aesthetic clinic,” Dr Kenningham says. “My patients love not only the privacy and elegance this build provides but also the extra clinical measures I can employ to provide a COVID-secure environment.

“Many of my patients work from home and have enquired about the garden building and I recommend Rubicon without hesitation. They were attentive during the build, accommodated my specific requirements and came back promptly to fix any snagging issues. They are a company that deserves to do very well!”
