Brighten your living room with a quirky, colourful footrest from Ewemoo
A south Wales success story, Ewemoo’s fun, animal-shaped footrests have been making people smile for over 10 years now.
Based at Trawsfordd, near Swansea, this unique business is the brainchild of Beth Morgan-Jones.
“We started by crafting quirky footrests in the shape of sheep in typical ‘sheep’ colours, but have now expanded the range to provide a choice of both subtle and vibrant colours,” says Beth. “Pigs, hedgehogs and highland cattle have also been added and prove to be very popular.
“I was brought up on a farm and had this idea of helping people bring the countryside into the home.
“Customers love them and they even give them names. And once they become a focal point in someone’s house, word spreads.”
Unsurprisingly in lockdown, when people needed cheering up and focused on their homes, Beth’s business continued do well and now she has more exciting plans for the future.
“ I have Shetland ponies, so we are developing a footrest in the shape of a horse, which we hope will be available to buy by Christmas.
“Our footstools are sold all over the UK, including in National Trust shops, but we are also planning a new website where people can order and buy direct online.”
“Ultimately, our aim is to introduce something different, gorgeous and quirky into people’s homes.”
The footrests are available in a variety of colours and styles and prices start at £120. To find out more visit: www.ewemoo.co.uk
