COASTAL WALKS

Waterfall walks

by Webmaster, 18th June 2019

It might not be known for it, but the Welsh coast has more than its fair share of sublime cascades of all shapes and sizes – we visit three jaw droppers

Not many people think ‘waterfalls’ when considering their next trip to the Welsh coast, but there are a surprising number close to the ocean – some even drop right in!

This is perhaps inevitable, as waves brush the steep, mountainous region of Snowdonia National Park in spots, while further south cliffs often provide a dramatic finale to the flow of a river or stream.

ROUTE 1 – See the famous falls then head up high

ROUTE 2 – Wild and beautiful on the Ceredigion coast

ROUTE 3 – Follow an old road along the scenic Teifi Valley
