The Welsh actress will be given the honour by her home city
Oscar-winning Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is to be given the freedom of her native Swansea when she returns to the city for a charity event in July.
The star of The Mask of Zorro, Darling Buds of May and Oceans Twelve will be given the honour as Swansea celebrates its 50th year as a city.
The 49-year-old was born in Wales' second city and grew up in the suburb of Mumbles at the start of the Gower Peninsula.
