A baby sperm whale has died after having been washed up on Hell's Mouth beach (Porth Neigwl) on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales.

It's believed to be the first sperm whale ever to be washed up on the Welsh coast.

The species is normally found in far deeper waters than that of the Irish Sea, so zoologists are puzzled as to how it could have got here. They'll be conducting tests to try and ascertain what happened.
