Built in the 18th century, the eye-catching half-timbered pub is set amid some of the most beautiful countryside in the county.

Nearby attractions include two National Trust-owned properties – Croft Castle and Parkland, and Berrington Hall – along with the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum.

Inside, the warm and welcoming pub – which is a sister establishment to The Riverside pub in nearby Aymestrey – boasts two comfy bar areas with wood-burning stove, and a dining space serving a menu of homemade fayre.
