One lucky Welsh Border Life reader will win a two-night midweek stay in the beautiful Barley Cottage, at Cyfie Farm, Powys, worth up to £220.

Located in the heart of the rolling Powys countryside, six miles south-west of the market town of Llanfyllin and eight miles south-east of stunning Lake Vyrnwy, Cyfie Farm has four charming self-catering cottages, ideal for anyone looking for a tranquil spot to escape the hustle and bustle.

Inside, Barley Cottage – which occupies a converted 17th-century barn – has a cosy lounge and dining area, with feature inglenook fi replace and log burner. The dog-friendly property also has a newly-refurbished, fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious super-kingsize bedroom, and a lovely bathroom. Outside, the cottage has a patio with garden furniture, and guests also have access to the farm’s award-winning garden.
