This month, one lucky Welsh Border Life reader has the chance to win an indulgent break for two, in a Luxury Room at Hereford’s Green Dragon Hotel.

One of the oldest hotels in Britain, its fascinating history includes hosting composer Sir Edward Elgar, and being used as a base for American Intelligence services during the Second World War.

After a year-long, multi-million pound renovation through 2019, The Green Dragon now offers 83 stylish en-suite rooms, a brasserie restaurant and lounge where you can enjoy a bite to eat or a three-course dinner, and chic bars where you can retire for cocktails or wine.

As well as luxury accommodation in the hotel, our lucky winner will also receive a decadent afternoon tea for two, and breakfast the next day.
