A breath of fresh air in Pembrokeshire

A beautiful contemporary house in a dramatic location nestled in the sand dunes overlooking Freshwater East, Merlin House offers guests stunning views of the Pembrokeshire coast.

The seaward side of the house has a balcony deck with a selection of outdoor furniture and glass railings to make the most of the views. Ideal for alfresco meals, the deck has sliding doors into a spacious first floor living area stylishly finished with oak floors, iconic modern furniture and prints by local photographers and artists. This open plan area connects to kitchen and dining spaces, plus there’s a study and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony.

Downstairs, the ground floor is home to two bunk rooms – one of which has two sets of bunk beds – and a single and a twin, both with en-suite shower facilities, bringing the total number of guests that can sleep at Merlin House to 11. There’s also a detached utility with washing machine and tumble drier, plus an outside shower perfect for rinsing off after a trip to the nearby beach.

Merlin House costs from £1,256 to £4,198 per week (2018). WiFi included. No pets allowed. Tel: 01437 765765. For details and to book, visit www.coastalcottages.co.uk
