The Georgian townhouse that's a must-visit in Anglesey's beautiful Beaumaris
Bishopsgate House Hotel and Restaurant in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey is an 18th century Georgian town house, full of period charm. The property was originally built as a dower house but now serves as a small hotel. There are constant reminders of the hotel’s past, such as an abundance of antique furniture, collections of glass and china, and a Chinese Chippendale staircase which is believed to be one of the country’s finest.
Each of the nine en-suite rooms has its own character, and two even boast four poster beds.
