Llandudno and South-West Wales were the locations for our spring competitions in Welsh Coastal Life. Were you a winner?
The spring 2022 issue of Welsh Coastal Life saw us offering the chance to win a stay in one of North Wales' finest boutique hotels, not to mention a fab foraging course for six in locations across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. Now it's time to declare the winners.
As a quick reminder, first up one lucky reader was set to win a two-night bed-and-breakfast stay for two, with champagne on arrival, at the Escape Boutique B&B in Llandudno, worth over £300. For this we posed the following question:
What's the name of the famous headland at the western end of Llandudno Bay?
A) Great Orme B) Great Storm C) Great Thorn
The answer was, of course, the Great Orme.
With yet again over a thousand entries to sift through, competition was as fierce as ever. But we can now reveal that the winner is...
Jackie Martin, from Broad Oak in Herefordshire
Congratulations Jackie. We'll be in touch with you shortly to confirm your prize.
In our other competition in spring's Welsh Coastal Life, another reader was set to win an Extreme Low Tide Coastal Foraging Experience for six people with the Black Rock Outdoor Company, worth £600. We asked:
Where is Black Rock Outdoor Company's base camp?
A) Just outside Haverfordwest B) Just outside Fishguard C) Just outside Tenby
The answer was, just outside Haverfordwest.
Again competition was fierce. But we can now reveal the winner is...
Daniel Stacey, from Cheltenham
Congratulations Daniel. We'll be in touch with you shortly to confirm your prize.
