Did you put the win into Wynnstay? We reveal who's won in our Welsh Coastal Life competition

The summer 2022 issue of Welsh Coastal Life featured a chance to win a stay at Machynlleth's Wynnstay Hotel in Mid Wales. Could the winner have been you?

The charming, traditional inn is centrally located in Machynlleth, with plenty of shops and eateries close by. The town sits within the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere, and birders are in for a treat, as just minutes away is RSPB Ynys-hir and the Dyfi Osprey Project. And that's to say nothing of the miles of sandy beach at nearby Abrdyfi.

Each of the hotel's en-suite rooms is individually designed, while dishes in the dining area are prepared using the freshest local produce and there’s an extensive wine list to peruse. After a serene night’s slumber, a hearty Welsh breakfast awaits to fuel you up for the day ahead and whatever excitement you choose to fill it with.

Up for grabs was a night's accommodation for two with bed and breakfast in a standard double room, worth £105, plus a £30 per person dinner allowance. And for your chance to win we asked:

Which project is located nearby?

A) Dyfi Osprey Project  B) Machynlleth Falcon Project  C) Aberdyfi Hummingbird

The answer was, of course, the Dyfi Osprey Project, and we can now reveal that the winner is:

Helen Travers from Newport in South Wales.

Congratulations Helen. We'll be in touch with you shortly to confirm your prize.
