Brighten up your home and support local artists by planning a day out to popular Hereford attraction Apple Store Gallery
Many of us have spent lockdown renovating and decorating our homes, so now is the perfect time to add some finishing touches.
And what could be better than some glorious original artwork adorning your walls or sculptures on your shelves to impress guests when we're finally allowed to entertain indoors again?
Apple Store Gallery in Hereford have everything you could possibly need to brighten up your interior, whatever your tastes or preferences.
As well as exhibitions of local paintings, there’s a wide selection of drawings, sculptures (such as this impressive £250 piece, pictured below, by Michelle James), ceramics, photography and textiles.
When it comes to paintings, Richard Bavin is currently exhibiting a selection of artwork, including ‘White Wood, Spring Light’ (pictured top) which is priced at £700.
Once restrictions are lifted, Apple Store are planning a summer of workshops, poetry and music events, including a celebration of the 900th anniversary of the UK’s longest running fair in Hereford, The May Fair, which will include special art and photographic exhibitions, as well as a re-enactment of the traditional grand opening.
September, meanwhile, will see the return of h.Art - Herefordshire Art Week - running from the 4th to the 12th.
Apple Store also offer a bespoke framing service and even have private studios to rent, as well as their own printing services. Cards, unframed works, and books by local authors, publishers and poets are also on sale.
