Musical maestro Sir Bryn Terfel heads up a special summer concert at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall
Music and song will be making Swansea's Brangwyn Hall a very merry place to be on 11th July, as Dunvant Male Choir (Cor Meibion Dyfnant) hosts its 41st Annual Patrons' Concert. It'll be a special event this year, too, as 2020 marks the choir's 125th anniversary.
To help them celebrate, they'll be welcoming two very special guests – soprano Angharad Morgan of the Welsh National Opera and world-renowned Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel (pictured above). Along with the Dunvant Male Choir, these operatic stars promise to make the night a birthday bash to remember.
Formed in 1895 by a group of miners, steelworkers and quarrymen, the Dunvant Male Choir is the oldest male choir in Wales and has the unique claim to fame of having 125 years of unbroken singing history.
